HIVE Educational Psychologist Associates
We are a group of Educational Psychologists offering a range of services to schools predominantly in West Berkshire. We have all previously worked for West Berkshire Council and some of us still do. We are self-employed and the aim of this website is to provide useful information, advice about our work in schools.
We are all contracted separately to schools and by pooling our experience and expertise we can provide professional support and training for each other and provide an extensive range of services to our schools.
Our ethos
We are passionate about education and believe in equity for every young person so that they are enabled to succeed.
We aim to remain curious, non-judgmental and respectful in all our interactions and recognize that there’s always more than one way of looking at or approaching something. We believe that positive relationships are nourishing and put this at the heart of all our work.
We endeavor to draw upon psychology in realistic ways so that we always leave the situation a little better or at the very least clearer than when we started.
